It Happened One Night is another movie about a newspaper man and a famous person, who accidentally meet and then use each other for ulterior motives, and ultimately fall in love. This is a very early one, from 1934 even.
Clark Gable seems very cartoonish in this. Perhaps that is just a consequence of seeing this with 74 years of parody between me and them.
Veria is a rather odd cable network. I never even knew it existed until it started showing up in my search for these movies. “Veria: the network dedicated to living well, naturally. Beautiful your world and yourself.” It seems to mostly be exercise, cooking, and beauty tips. And some old movies. Wtf.
